State-funded for Louisiana residents
We distribute free telecommunications devices to residents of the parishes we serve who are deaf; deaf/blind; or hearing, visually or speech impaired. Proof of residency and disability is required to qualify for the free lifetime loaners program, which is funded by the Louisiana Commission for the Deaf. As part of the program, broken equipment will be replaced.

Harris Communications equipment
Deaf Action Center North Shore is a Harris Communications dealer. As such, we are authorized to offer equipment at a reasonable cost for the hearing, vision or speech impaired who may not qualify for the state-funded program.
